Laura Slatkin introduced the world to the art of home fragrance with the launch of Slatkin & Co in 1994. While doing so, Laura sensed a void in the luxury market and set out to create her own brand, NEST New York.

Collaborating exclusively with master perfumers who had access to the world’s finest ingredients, Laura launched NEST New York in 2008 with a collection of expertly crafted candles featuring a proprietary wax formula with one of the highest percentages of fragrance oils in the industry. Today, NEST New York is the leading home fragrance brand in the luxury market.

In 2013, Laura went on to apply her expertise and vision to a highly creative and hugely successful collection of niche Eau de Parfums inspired by 18th century botanical paintings.She continued to innovate with the 2021 release of Perfume Oils, a skincare-inspired collection that introduced a completely new way to wear fragrance. Each Perfume Oil blends a single hero note ingredient with skin-softening baobab oil for long-lasting scent and luxurious nourishment.
